An estimated 15 million Filipinos have high blood pressure or altapresyon in Tagalog. Almost 25% of people over the age of 18 have high blood pressure. By age 60, about 50% have high blood pressure.

What does high blood mean?

If your blood pressure exceeds 140 over 90, you probably already have high blood pressure. But when you are tired, angry or exercising, your pressure will rise but it does not mean that you are high in blood pressure. Taking blood pressure should be when you relax and do nothing.

Normal blood pressure is less than 140 over 90. The best blood pressure is about 120 over 80. If it is lower then it's okay. But of course, we do not want your pressure to drop (less than 90 over 60) because it may signal a faint heart.

What is the cause of high blood pressure?

Two sources of high blood. First, you inherit it from your parent. Second, you get it from the wrong lifestyle such as smoking, being overweight, eating too much salt and being fat and lacking in exercise.

There are other factors that can increase your pressure such as vomiting, lack of sleep, constant irritation, extreme heat, and kidney disease.

What are the symptoms of high blood pressure?

The correct answer here is "no!" A person with high blood pressure often doesn't feel right. This is why high blood pressure is called a "silent killer" because the patient's life is in danger but he is not feeling it. Isn't it scary?

However, some people experience symptoms, such as neck pain, headaches and dizziness. We can say that the person with the symptoms is fortunate because they can check with the doctor earlier.

High blood complications include stroke (bleeding in the human brain), blindness, kidney disease and heart attacks. See a doctor right away if your pressure is above 140 over 90 to give you a cure. If you do not know your pressure, you should go to the clinic or health center.
Thank You.
